Are there any tips and tricks available to make vocals sound more human?
What I have produced so far sounds a little robotic.

I studied all the video manuals (they are great) and I made the following changes which has helped. In Voice Database Settings I changed Tension to -1.00 and Breathiness to 1.00.
Even more important is that you make it dynamic. Only an accurate editing in the MIDI lane of the parameters will give you good results.
If you don’t edit notes and phrases, the result will always be pretty flat and robotic: I recommend you look to demos of advanced users and learn from good renditions (actually not so much around so select by hear, because lot of amateurs are publishing sequences with pretty basic editing and so with pretty robotic sound LOL but some amazing and well programmed examples are also on line).
You will discover that the most accurate parameters editing were producing the most realistic renderings
