I often have to create ‘learning tracks’ which have one part predominant in the mix of a multi-track song. For instance, if the song is in 4-part harmony I have to create 5 learning tracks with the following volume settings:

Master Track
Track 1 0db
Track 2 0db
Track 3 0db
Track 4 0db

Learning Track 1
Track 1 0db
Track 2 -20db
Track 3 -20db
Track 4 -20db

Learning Track 2
Track 1 -20db
Track 2 0db
Track 3 -20db
Track 4 -20db

… etc for the other 2 tracks…

This gets very tedious the more tracks there are. Is there any way of automating this or writing a batch file that can do this in a few simple clicks?

I recommend hooking Synthesizer V up to a DAW for this type of advanced routing. The editor itself isn’t trying to be an all-in-one software but rather a part of the music production chain.

None of my DAWs can do this via batch or macro which is why I thought SV could be the place do it. Vocaloid 5 ‘nearly’ does it with the multichannel option, that can create solo WAVs of each track at the push of a button, if only it could mix in the other tracks at -20db.
