I beta tested emvoice and found synth v out of frustration with their cloud model. I found it “chicken” and greedy. The performance was abysmal.

I definitely agree.
See emvoice get pounded for their singer as a service model.
Kanru - don’t you do it dude.
Musikluver, just wanted to say huge thanks for the faux male voice ideas - they’ve been incredibly useful and produced really good results. Thanks also for the Graillon suggestion!
We’ll probably not even see an English Bulldog much less and English Male Voice for SynthV.
That sucks. Can you manage a virtual machine?
You’re welcome, Brianius! I enjoyed doing that. However, I recently realized that the male version of Eleanor’s voice that I’ve been using (which I have named “Lenny”) needed to be EQ enhanced to make it sound better. After a considerable amount of experimentation, I settled on an EQ curve that was acceptable to me. I suggest that you do the same. I used the Tracktion 6 DAW to create this curve, which you can view and download as a reference for your own EQ curve at the following link:
Thanks very much indeed, muzikluver. That’s really useful.
