I keep repeating myself - I like, like, like and I still have a lot to learn even in this case and I’m already retired
Thanks i’ve got a lot to learn as well, and i believe that is what keep us going. That is what makes it fun… The creativity, and to explore new things. I have so much to learn, especially when it comes to mixing and mastering
I don’t have the skills for mixing and mastering at my age (73 years old) and I’ve only been doing these two activities for about 3 years (music since I was 10 years old). I compose the song, write the lyrics and make the arrangement and create virtual instruments and choirs. However, every time I just work on the mix and take it to the studio of a friend who owns his two studios and has been doing it for more than 30 years. He has even been lecturing and teaching about mixing and mastering for years. So I say if something goes well, how much credit does he have for it … ?
I guess that back in the days you could sell in a good song with a bad mix. nowadays you have to have a perfect song and mix/master…and good connections…and make a great video but the most important i think is good connections in the music industry …
We had a bit of a misunderstanding. I also create music these days and I go to the studio for quality sound. I can’t make videos and I’m trying Kaiber, but I’m at the beginning here and I don’t know if I can make a good video with my skills. That’s why I put my music on SoudCloud, where only audio is presented. I always register the songs on our protection union “OSA”, but I have no management team for promotion, because I don’t feel at the level I should have for that team. I do it for fun at my age. But I rejoice, from your results that you all present here …
I also do it for fun …even the videos are fun to do i think
