Happy Halloween everyone! Although I don’t really celebrate Halloween, my birthday is just two days before Halloween every year so my band and I opted to do this song in honour of my birthday. ^-^
Guitar tone was achieved through the Darkglass Alpha-Omega 900 amplifier which is more commonly used as a bass amp, but after seeing Erik Arko getting guitar tones out of the same amplifier and seeing how some of the other YouTube users got their guitar tones out of their own Alpha-Omega products I finally gave it another try and this is the best result I’ve had so far. ^-^
The guitar I’ve used is the RG9QM Black Ice loaded with a single EMG 909X pickup (yes, that is a 9-string guitar) but this might be one of the last times I use this guitar for a while, as I recently bought a Legator Artist Signature LM-9 (also a 9-string guitar) to add to my arsenal, which is getting new strings installed as we speak. ^-^
Bass was Solemn Tones Loki Bass with the tone being a combination of Neural DSP Darkglass B7K Ultra and the Neural DSP Parallax.
Drums is the usual GGD Periphery IV, Taylor Larson Luke Holland Drumshotz, and 3 Sigma Audio Top Shelf Drums combined to make one super sound.
We also got Soundtoys Decapitator which we used on everything.
