I’ve installed a mandarin dictionary before, but I only have the folders for mandarin and English dictionaries. is there a separate area for Japanese dictionaries? if I have to make a folder, how do I get Basic Studio to use the new folder as a source?
Issue resolved.
The next day, the folder for the Japanese dictionaries was there. I don’t know what had changed, except maybe that I had the studio open and a Japanese voice bank loaded when I tried to find the folder the 2nd day?
Assuming your using a eng voice with a japanese library edit. You would put the .json file here :
Documents\Dreamtonics\Synthesizer V Studio\dicts\english-arpabet
If you use a jpn bank an make a custom edit . The Japanese edit will be placed here :
Documents\Dreamtonics\Synthesizer V Studio\dicts\japanese-romaji
