The glottal stop phoneme doesn't sound like a glottal stop

I made solaria lite say the word “button” and replaced the dx with q (which is how it’s most commonly pronounced, as [bʌʔɪn]) but it doesn’t sound like a glottal stop, it just sounds like a slur between the 2 vowels.

Try using cl instead. I believe while q is present in the phoneme list, it is not actually used and cl is the actual glottal stop phoneme for SynthV.

Thanks that worked. How come cl isn’t in the english phonemes list but only in the japanese one when it can be used in english as well?

Japanese language has “cl” phonemes because they have the pronunciation like “っ” which needs pause.
AI voicebank can use " '" to achieve glottal stop.
