Hello, do you already know roughly when version 1.9 will be released as an update?
Dreamtonics hasn’t announced any specific date.
Based on past beta phases:
- 1.7.1b1 - 30 days
- 1.8.0b1 - 14 days
- 1.8.1b1 - 10 days
The lack of consistency in the previous beta phases likely means that it will only be released once the developers have addressed a certain number or reported bugs.
Dreamtonics also recently requested feedback about the new pitch modes, and in particular, the new color-coded piano roll. It stands to reason that they’ve allowed themselves a long enough beta period to not just gather the feedback but also make adjustments based on it.
Since that feedback survey was only sent out 5 days ago they’re probably still collecting responses.
