Crash Recovery Without Saving: Where are recovery/temp files located?

I spent hours working on a file, but then I moved the instrumental track a funny way by accident, and the entire program is currently frozen. I’m waiting for it to miraculously come back to life (it’s been a while), but if/when it crashes, is there a way I can recover my file?

From what I can see, there’s no autosaved version and I can’t find the location of the “recovery files” or “temp files” that people talk about. Will it attempt to reload its previous state if I close and reopen it?

On Windows the recovery folder is at C:\Users\%userprofile%\Documents\Dreamtonics\Synthesizer V Studio\recovery.

This is the same location as the scripts and dictionaries folders.

Thank you so much! After I finally mustered up the guts to force quit the program, it gave me an option to restore when it booted back up!
