I’m trying to get a better understanding of manual tuning and mainly editing the pitch. I’d like to know if there are some common tips/guidelines for where pitch bends are usually placed. I know you can do whatever you want but I’m not sure where to start.
I’ve studied projects tuned by people with more experience but it hasn’t made me much wiser, especially if those projects weren’t originally made in Synth V. On YouTube there’s some streams available of people tuning their projects but they don’t explain what they do or why.
I noticed people tend to go pretty crazy with those curves and get great results, however when I try it myself it easily sounds like a small bend is too much already or sounds robotic or out of tune.
In the meantime I’m just trying and experimenting, but it would be nice to have and idea where to start.
