Is it possible to get a metronome count in for SV?
I know I can start recording at bar 2 and then move everything back to bar 1, but could I get a pre count before bar 1 ? (… as in Logic for instance).
Unfortunately not, or at least not yet. MIDI recording is still a pretty new feature for the software so it’s a bit barebones compared to the implementation a full-fledged DAW typically offers.
One option is to set up the loop markers so that you can treat the end of the time window as your count-in, then when it loops back to the beginning you start playing your notes, but that might be more work than just shifting the notes back a bar like you’re already doing.
