Having to read a randomly generated port, like it’s a secret password to enter into the EXE from session to session is criminal. Let us just use a default port of our choosing. That way we can launch the daw and the exe and go to connect and our port we used yesterday will be the port we use today and simply clicking connect will succeed.
If it can’t be all automatic, then at least give us the ability to just the port of our choice.
