Synthesizer V Studio cannot select output audio device

The device list is empty, I can’t select anything, which causes me to not play and preview

Does your computer have sound in other applications?

I use Mac mini (2020). I can not select the internal audio output device, either.

Windows 10 here. Attempts to change the output device result in a blank box and inablility to play track.
