Is it necessary to divide a single syllable(a romaji) into two when editing Japanese songs?

I am trying to use synthesizer v to make a Japanese song. But during my process,I found that the consonants were not well pronounced. They sound very light. How can I stress them? Can I solve this problems by dividing the romajis? If so,what should I do?

When working in Japanese you should generally not have multiple morae per note. Usually this means a single kana.

If you’re using romaji, you should at least familiarize yourself with how romaji is used to represent hiragana so you don’t divide things in unusual ways by accident.
