Description: Setting midi input device to Disabled while holding note on midi keyboard causes note to keep playing until Midi input is re-enabled and a note is pressed and released
Environment: Windows 10, SynthV Pro v1.10.1, using VST plugin in Reaper DAW
Steps to reproduce:
- Project configured with Midi input from Midi keyboard
- Hold any key on the Midi keyboard so you hear a note in SynthV
- While holding the key, change the Midi input to “Disabled”
- The note should still be playing
- Change Midi input back to Midi keyboard
- The note should still be playing
- Press and release any key on the Midi keyboard to get the note to stop playing
Other observations
While the note is playing, the following do not work to get it to stop playing:
- Muting and unmuting channels
- Closing and reopening plugin window while leaving DAW running
Restarting my DAW does get the note to stop
