Synth V AU plugin constantly crashes in Band-In-A-Box 2023 (standalone )

The AU plugin is specifically for Logic Pro. If you are not using Logic Pro as your plugin host, you should use the VST3 version.
This is mentioned in the FAQs for the current beta, but I believe is also applicable for the non-ARA plugin.
On macOS, please also make sure to use the VST3 version of the ARA plugin, as opposed to the AU version which is for Logic Pro only.

BIAB 2023 Mac only supports AU and VST2 currently
And the idea that the current AU is specifically only for Logic is kinda an admission that the SynthV devs simply haven’t figured out how to code an AU plugin properly…hopefully YET.
If there is an AU it should be useable in any well known and established plugin host
