I just purchased Synthesizer V from Dreamtronics. So far so good, but when I use the VST for that within Reaper, I think I have everything set correct with the voice, but all I get is a synthesizer sound on playback and not the vocal I selected. I am pretty sure I am missing something, but the helpfile from DT Website doesn’t really go in depth and Reaper help doesn’t address anything like this.
Any help would be truly appreciated

The synth sound is what happens when you dont have a voice selected. Maybe double check that?

Are the MIDI events still on the DAW track? Then you will only hear the synth sound via the SynthV output.
The MIDI events must be on a track within the plugin, a voice must be selected for this track and the MIDI events must have at least simple syllables (like la-la-la) or phonemes assigned to them, otherwise you won’t hear the voice .
