HI, I use Cakewalk as my DAW and I can open SynthV on a track as a plug in, but I don’t know how to get the midi information into Synth V!
I save the midi file in the same folder that the project is in. In cakewalk go to file select export then select midi . then open Synth V in the vst insert as sown above in your example. select file and then import as an instrument. the midi notes will show up in synth v so that you can begin to assign the vocal associated with the notes. Another tip is I usual put a dummy not on beat 1 note 1 in the midi track before I export it. hat way II can check everything is aligned in Synth V. hope that helps
