Hoping I’ve just missed it - but when freely dragging unquantized notes up/down to change their pitch only - they inevitably shift time a bit and end up covering the ends of other notes (causing inactive notes) - requiring lots of time tweaking of the surrounding note’s ends or timing to fix.
What I’m hoping for is a keyboard shortcut that locks a selected note’s exact time/beat/measure/ position (especially including non-grid freely placed notes) - so one can change the pitch quickly without risk of altering the timing or length of the note (or surrounding notes) in any way.
HOLD POSITION - Drag Up/Down for pitch change.
