I Use Cakewalk with Synth V as a plug in. I loaded a wav file of the original Vocal into Synth V. once i had duplicated the vocals, I muted the wav file track. When I played back I could not hear the wav file as expected. HOWEVER; when I went to do a mix down the muted track played back with the new Midi Vocal I had created. I checked that the wav was still muted selected, but it still played back on mix down. I removed the wav file, did a mix down and no problem.
