I have 2 computers I would like to use SynthV on, and I would prefer to not having to deactivate and reactivate the thing constantly. I’d be fine using the basic version on one of them, but I don’t know if I’d have to do that with the voicebanks I currently want to use, or if you can even use Mai on the free version.
Not the program, I don’t know about the voice banks though.
It varies a bit, and is even inconsistent within Dreamtonics (see the linked post below).
As far a Mai is concerned, she can only be used in the Pro edition. Even if the Pro edition is installed and activated on the same computer, she won’t be usable in the Basic edition.
I have the program (Pro version) and a few VBs that I purchased installed in 2 computers, no problems whatsoever.
As Claire already linked … you need a license of Synth V Pro for each computer, but you can use the voices on two computers. Regarding voices the EULA speaks of a limited number of devices.
