i’m not sure where this got out of control. basically started life as a melon + collie + 
piano piece that i worked on sporadically over the course of six months or so.
so i did my usual composition work in Hookpad, exported MIDI and imported into DAW and assigned instruments. then got an idea to use Toontrack EZK and EZB to “augment” it. then built the structure into BIAB for the guitar solos. way way different than my original thinking on this. it just simply fell into this, whatever it is.
and then suddenly, the vocals just went in a completely different (Jefferson Starship?) kind of way. and of course what would modern blues be without some rapping?
